The earliest records of land yachting on Brean sands appear round 1920, when locals sailed for fun, having made yachts from the remains of World War 1 aircraft. 70 years later the Brean Land Yachting Club is still going from strength to strength.
Brean holds regular trial days in their fleet of training yachts. It's a great way to test the water before you commit to membership. Based in the southwest of England, in Somerset's cider country
within easy reach of junction 22 M5 motorway.
