Phuket Raceweek update, venue change

Firstly, we hope this communication finds you all well and safe. As we know the Coronavirus outbreak has created havoc and unfortunately a lot of sadness and misery for many people throughout the World.

Our thoughts and sympathies are with everyone whether directly affected or not.

The current Phuket situation

You may already know that all the hotels in Phuket are closed. Last weekend the Phuket Airport was due to open to some domestic flights, in the 11th hour a decision was made not to open.

International flights are currently closed and no clear indication available as to the rules on entry to Thailand when flights resume.

The 17th Phuket Raceweek 2020

Phuket Raceweek 2020 and the Covid 19 situation is not fully clear as I write.

There is a full news report on the Phuket Raceweek website HERE which we will keep updated through the rest of this month and into June. Please save this link so you may check in frequently.

We are doing everything possible to organise Phuket Raceweek. This includes negotiations with alternative venues.

This is subject to being allowed to run the event.

If allowed, Phuket Raceweek 2020 will operate according to Thailand Disease Control rules regulations.

No doubt Social Distancing will be a top priority along with individual temperature control recommendations.

Good news for 2021

We have confirmed dates with our Title Sponsor, Cape Panwa Hotel.

The18th Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek is scheduled for 14th - 18th July 2021.

Should you not make it this year, we will looking forward to seeing you again safe, well and healthy in 2021.
